This jam-packed holiday show is now history, but what a show it was!  Audience members took a trip back to the 1940′s when they attended the MCTC’s latest production, “A Jazzy Little Christmas”.  The intimate theatre in Belmont was designed as a retro nightclub with table seating, warm lighting and space for dancing.  Patrons sat back and enjoyed the vocals of MCTC singers Susana Hajjar, Tom Mann, Laurie McDaniel, Jonathan Warren, and Karen Simpson in a repertoire which included songs by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and George Gerswhin, as well as smooth jazz seasonal favorites.

“We have cleared the floor for this event, which is our first winter concert.”, said MCTC director, Laurie McDaniel.  “From ‘White Christmas” to ‘They Can’t Take That Away From Me’, the program is nostalgic, romantic and fun.  There is even room for a foxtrot if the spirit moves you, and we think it will!”
